Milled Mak 90 project

Just thought I would share some pics of the Mak I've been working on lately. I am waiting on a new butt plate to arrive next week and have to put the sling swivel mount on the stock but I'm getting close. I spent a few weeks on the stock.

At this point I haven't decided what I actually want to do with it but the work to get it this far has been a lot of fun.

That is really nice! Beautiful wood...almost too nice for an AK haha. Is it the "NATO" length...looks a bit longer than the standard buttstock.

i have/had a chance to get a milled mak 90(have to check with the guy and see if its still available) and id do pretty much the same with it except id look at repalcing the FSB and maybe the gas block to get it to hold a cleaning rod and possibly a bayonet(more interested in the cleaning rod though).

And i wouldve went with honey blond furniture but red looks nice as well. Great looking Ak
