Has anyone mounted an Eotech red-dot on a Mini Draco? How did it work out? I see where there are rails that replace the rear sight, and should accept an Eotech, or even place it on the front rail, like on a Midwest rail.
(I haven't got the mini yet, but I'm gettin ready !!!)

I use the Gen II Texas Tactical rail and and a Primary Arms red dot -- I like the lower third co-witness with the Texas Tactical aperture rear sight. No reason an Eotech wouldn't work, although you'd not be able to use the irons as backup since its so tall.

I've the Primary Arms red dots on several guns and like the setup enough that I'll spring for the real Aimpoint H1 they emulate should they break, but so far none has.

I've mounted an Eotech on a Midwest Industries rail. It say far too high to get a decent cheek weld. It was more of a chin weld.

Normally, I love the Eotech, but in this case, it just can't be mounted low enough.

I'll be going to a vortex Strikefire/Aimpoint on the MI/US Palm upper handguard mount.

That was my thought as well. Of course this is only an issue if you plan to SBR the gun (which makes it about a million times more useful).

I think I'd be inclined to either use an MI iron dot mount and an aimpoint micro or TWS rail cover (and I'd still prefer an aimpoint FWIW).
