Have you tried different ammo? Try some 5.56 XM193 or similar and see if it still malfunctions.
Ruger CS is great, it should be back home to you soon.UPDATE:
I got an 0844am email stating "We have completed work on your Ruger firearm and are now preparing it for shipment"
I called and she said they were having phone trouble, her voice was picket fencing badly, but I think I heard -
replaced extractor
adjusted op rod
polished hammer
and something else.
The email stated I'd get a tracking number when it ships,....nothing yet.
There are multiple things that have to be balanced in a semiauto.... gas bushing that's to small, or
... extra power recoil spring
... buffer to the rear that's too thick.
Exactly!
Weird how it was cranky, but glad to hear it seems to be working like it should.UPDATE:
Shot 100 rounds of factory Federal 55gr FMJ
shot 60 rounds of handloaded 62grHPBT / WC846
shot 40 rounds of handloaded 55grSP / win748
100% reliable
Maybe it simply doesn't like NORMA or Winchester white box, and Ruger fixed it ?
I will continue to shoot and test it. I like the new TECHSIGHT rear sight and wood stock.
Put another 100 rounds of my 55grSP and 62grHPBT handloads through it ... 100% reliable againUPDATE: Shot 100 ... Federal 55gr FMJ ... 60 rounds of handloaded 62grHPBT / WC846 ... 40 rounds of handloaded 55grSP / win748 ... 100% reliable
Looks that way as invoice stated, "RANGE TEST ... COMPLETED ... NO ISSUES"Maybe ... Ruger fixed it ?
Except for the grease.Yes, the action is properly lubed.
I also think it may be over gassed so much that the bolt is moving forward faster than the magazine can lift the next round,....but not sure.
Except for the grease.
