Just placed an order with Missouri lead bullets for my 40 cal. S&W , M&P shield . Have heard them mentioned on THR before . 500 count , 34.50 , not bad. Any one else do business with company ? Reliable ?

Chief;
Missouri Bullets are in my not very humble opinion, among the best cast bullets available. Their service is second to none. That means that their service is the absolute best. Fast shipping, high quality products and they stand behind their products.
I've been a satisfied customer since shortly after they began in business.
I have cast my own bullets with an alloy that I mixed, then lubricated these bullets with my Star lubrisizer. (90% wheelweights, 10% solder[50/50 tin lead])
My bullets grouped only a little bit better than Missouri bullets and took a LOT of hours of work to produce.
Buy from them in confidence.

And they're one of the very few that shows that hardness, so it isn't a guessing game. :)

As you see already, that company is held in very high regard here and with good reason. They produce a high quality product at a fair price and on the outside chance something goes wrong they make it right with no questions asked.

They are one of the few companies I deal with online. (with no fears)

A Discount Offer from Missouri Bullet Company

I'm not sure you should have put that code on the forum. It was not meant for the open public so I really don't think it's fair you put it here for all to see.

Agree with AACD about the code.:banghead: So much for a retirement business for Brad. Seems he is going full tilt and more these days. MB is a GREAT company to deal with and I have several hundred LBS of bullets waiting to reload as soon as the propellant situation improves a bit. I still buy more however as cash flow allows it to hedge against the inevitable inflation. You can not go wrong with these guys.:D

What are Brad Alperts (the Missouri Bullets president) "politics" that we may not agree with?

Potatohead, I took it as Brad was just covering all his bases as to why the individual may have not ordered from them lately. Nothing specific. But, I don't do face book either. So, what do I know. :)

Missouri Bullets have shot well once I get my loads right.

We occasionally offer discounts based on past buying history and the availability of specific bullets that we project will be ordered when we do these promotions. Many hours of research and preparation goes into this process.

Unfortunately, since this discount code has been published here, it is no longer valid.:banghead:

I've set up a new discount code but customers that received the offer will have to email us to get the new code. If you enter the original code you will see the message with instructions.

I don't know why you haven't ordered from us lately
Perhaps some on your customer list made purchases from Powder Valley, Graf & Sons and other vendors that carry your products?

Brad/JoAnn, I am still shooting up tens of thousands of bullets I stock piled in past years when Brad offered us some of your promotions.

Unfortunately, since this discount code has been published here, it is no longer valid.
But kudos to you for maintaining the 5% THR discount code after all these years. I don't know how you are willing to do that but I am sure many appreciate you continuing to honor the THR discount.

Thanks bds. THR members have been good to us over the years and we appreciate your business. We are happy to continue offering the THR discount.

Well, code or no code, in the next month or two, I will be ordering more.
In all the recent crazy times, MBC kept the prices reasonable and worked hard to fill the back orders while trying to keep everyone informed of the situation there. :)

I am glad to see Missouri Bullet Company go from a tiny mom & pop start up to a national level company creating jobs and supporting our economy. And one of few companies that really cares about their employees and providing full benefits and proper work environment.

I wish my reloading bench was as clean as theirs (check out this shop camera feed - use THR/HideyHole to log in) - http://www.missouribullet.com:1024/main.cgi?next_file=video2.htm

Although probably not the semi-retirement Brad and Jo Ann anticipated for the ex-IT guy, but none the less, they worked really hard (and believe me they did) to set a fine example that the American dream/capitalism based on good products and exceptional customer service still works in today's world where consumers demand better products, better service and faster than Amazon prime shipping.

I still remember Brad laughing off my suggestion of ramping up production levels to meet national level distribution ... oh my, those were the days that I am sure Jo Ann dreams about. :D

If you want this country to head in the right direction, support the "right" companies like MBC that manufactures in the USA while employing domestic employees and pays all the taxes and still put out quality products that their customers demand.

To the OP. My limited experience with their bullets has been very good. High quality and prompt shipping. If they have a configuration that fits your needs I doubt you'll find a better value.

stainless, the offer still stands. I just need you to send an email to get the new discount code unless longhill decides to delete the post. I asked him nicely in a private message.

Keep in mind that like Rocky Mountain Reloading and some other bullet manufacturers, MBC will offer greater discount at higher volume levels. Get together with your reloading friends and do a group buy - http://www.missouribullet.com/faq.php
Do you offer discounts for group orders?
Yes. We offer several discount levels starting at 12,000 bullets. Contact us for more information.
They also offer military/LE discounts.
Do you provide a special discount for military personnel?
Yes, we proudly participate in the "Thank a Soldier" program started by Quinn & Rose at www.warroom.com. If you qualify, email for details from your military email address and we will provide program details.

Do you provide a special discount for sworn law enforcement personnel?
Yes, and proudly so. Please call or email us for details.

Not only that, MBC proudly sponsors and has contributed to many shooting related events and causes. Here's a closer look at Brad & Jo Ann's story of challenges and successes - http://www.missouribullet.com/rural_mo.pdf
