Pros
1 Faster reloads on most guns depending on bullet shape (wad cutters don't like to go in easy with moons)
2 No speed loader knob Or however you activate it
3 No loose ammo if speed loader fails
4 You can use either speed loader or moons
5 Compact size of the moons (I use comp III's they are huge)
Cons
1 If one shell gets stuck they all are with a moon connecting them all
2 You can't load one at a time if needed using moons.
Brass from different companies often have different sized gaps in the rims for those moonclips to fit into. Moonclips can limit what ammunition you like to shoot, or reloading components you use.
