I believe that some Law Enforcement Agencies (Federal I believe, possibly Secret Service) issue .357 Sig. If those don't count I would think 10mm is more popular. Not sure though.
I think the 10mm has just recently taken the 357 sig. in popularity. People like Ted Nugent have finally been herd. It is a great hunting cartridge too.
More State and FedGov Agency's appear to be using the Sig.
It got my vote.
A co-worker just bought one,the Glock 33 last week.I personally would go with the more powerful, though harder to conceal ,Glock 29 in 10mm.
It's probably quite close ,popularity wise.
Texas DPS uses .357 sig. They probably fire more rounds in training than 10mms are sold in the US. Just a guess, though. Me, I'd like a 10, got no use at all for .357 Sig, just think the Sig is probably the queen of the ball popularity wise between the two.
Each caliber has its uses. Though I own a 357 sig I'm pretty sure its more in use by LEO than anyone else. As far as the reloading community is concerned I think the 10mm wins hands down, though I've been having some fun reloading the 357 myself.
Does any LE agency even issue the 10mm? Far and away the .357 is more popular in terms of usage. Although every gun enthusiast seems to have a hard-on for 10mm cause of the power potential.
