Put my new
molon%20labe.jpg
bumper sticker on the back of my dear old Chevy pick up truck.

After admiring how much nicer the "heap" looks with it on there, I jump under the front of the truck to start changing the oil when my wife comes out with the trash.

I see her feet stop at the end of the truck ..... then continue on to the trash barrel. She comes up to the front of the truck and asks "Honey, why do you have a bumper sticker on the back of the truck that says "Moron Aboard?"

*sigh*:scrutiny:

She enjoys a good sleuth, so I said I'd give her a week to figure it out.
I just had to laugh, figured you'd all like a chuckle too.

On the other hand, if said vehicle was registered in a certain east coast state that is less than gun-friendly, but shall remain un-named ( so the mods won't close this down ) and driven by a native son or daughter of said state, "Moron Aboard" would be a very appropriate warning label.

Snicker - I use to live in Stoughton MA and Franklin MA....
NEVER AGAIN I say NEVER AGAIN!

+1 Thumper

From a native son of Southbridge. Never live there again, spend as little there as possible.

I'm still stuck here. Maybe when I get things in better order I'll escape to NH. Something a lot of folks don't realize is that there is (or was) a huge sporting/shooting hobby in MA. We certainly don't like the way things have gone. Trouble is most people interested are getting up there in age and the younger generation have all been raised on the BS coming out of the politicians for years and years. Plus recently an oddly high number of far-left loopy new-agey types with lots of money who seemed to pop up out of nowhere.

And here i was thinking of the state i've been trapped in for the past few years that's just slightly south of NY, east of PA and north of DE...you know, the one with the world's second-worst drivers, ( right after you MA guys ) :neener: and gun legislation on the books that's about as bad as yours...

I lived there most of my life, and only recently escaped to maine... but it's temporary... I still work in MA a few times a week, so I'm still sort of subject to their silly gun laws. I have to be very careful which Glock magazines I bring with me, for instance.

Moron labe might not be a bad message to send to England or something. Please, take our morons! They'd fit in better over there!

Just becuase MA is not gun friendly we should insult the people who do own guns there.
I agree. Due to some circumstances, some of us find ourselves in some of these commie states because of jobs, schools, family, etc. So we just have to make the best of the bad situation.

Until recently, we had the equivalent of "Moron Aboard" here in NJ...the registration stickers that go on your license plate.

You have two license plates here in NJ...one up front, one in back.

The state sends you two stickers when you renew your registration, along with instructions for those who can't quite figure it out.

Any time you see a vehicle with both stickers lovingly affixed to the rear plate, you know it's a "Moron Aboard" situation.
