A quick trip to dinner in moscow, with a stop at the big sporting goods store up there.

They were closing up by the time we got there, but the gun counter guys were
very friendly and let me handle the new xd-M model.

Wow! The grip seemed long but the gun felt and pointed nicely.
I didn't dry fire it, but was still impressed.

Hopefully..it will be offered in .357 SIG, too.

When asked if they had sold many Dan Wessons, the response was in the
negative, but they perked right up when I asked about CZs.

One of the employees commented that they had just sold a RAMI that day.

He also said that he felt the CZ75 was the best 9mm ever made. We further discussed CZs, the forthcoming P-07 DUTY in particular, as my concealed
RAMI rode in a new High Noon paddle holster on my right hip.

I felt that I was in good company with these two.

We also discussed Glocks until my better looking half showed up.

Unlike some gunshop employees...
These guys seemed to know about guns and had some real class:)

I left a few business cards with them, and hope that they visit the forum
and CZ-ZONE when able to do so.

You're talking about Tri-state, I assume? We're you open carrying or CC? I had heard they are BLATANTLY anti-OC...hmmm...

I'll have to check them out. Been eyeing a CZ rifle for a while as a new plinker. Good to know.

Quite concealed.

Some real nice workers there..everyone was nice.

I think the guys behind the counter at Tri-State are as you say, except they are held back from selling to Out of State residents by Tri-State policy.
It pissed me off last June, so I went directly to Sure SHot and bought a 686P from CHarles for $50 more than what Tri-State would have sold it to me but I'm a WA State Rez, over in Pullman 8 miles west. My gun dealer is up in Colfax, WA, - I have a COncealed Pistl License. sheeish.

Anyway, nice to know there's some good folks nearby I bought a
CZ 75B about 6 weeks ago - love it. I'm a member at Diamondback Shooters in Lewiston ID.

Tri state was at one time the cheapest place to buy guns in lewiston but now they are the most expensive. I also do not like there anti OC agenda.

BushPilot - The gun dealer I referred to isn't 'in' Colfax, he's a few miles east - Chicken Ranch Rd. Chance Bidle Greyman Guns I've trnafered about 5 S&Ws through him, as well as telling him I wanted a CZ 75B after I handled a couple of different models over at Tri-State in Moscow. It was about the same price as finding one on gunbroker NIB and then paying S&H
and Transfer. He also knows 1911s - has a Paintball league on
certain Saturdays

BlindJustice-I spent 4 years in Colfax...and I don't know this? Shame on me...Small world, I guess, eh?

And good to know about Tri-States policy. None of MY hard earned funds going there NOW. HA! I guess I know where I'm ordering the lever gun from!

I just read the new issue of Combat Handguns, XD-M on the cover.

Given my brief experience with the M series gun. I also think that
it is more comfortable than a regular XD.

Actually, far more comfortable than any Glock, and much like
a 75B. Just sat in the web of my hand like it was made for it!

Should they offer it in the far cheaper to shoot 9mm..
they will have a real seller.

Bush Pilot

Give me a call at 509 330 0449 tomorrow
mid-morning or later.

Hey, Tri-State does offer great camping gear, and has a
great kitchen stuff area as well at low prices AFAIK.

Just torques me off the guys behind the counter are handcufffed
when I can produce - ID. CPL.... and character ref. with the locals
including cops etc. for a lousy transfer.
