mossberg 320b 22lr extraction problem

I have a old single shot bolt action rifle that only extracts cases sometimes. The extractor looks to be held in by metal that was pushed in on both sides of the grove. It's in a half circle shape and appears that maybe a punch was used to do it. The metal appears to be worn away, the left side extractor looks fine where the metal is pushed in.

I was wondering if its possible to push the metal in again or if buying a new/used bolt is a better idea? Thanks!

staked it a bit on both sides, still does it. seems to hold it fine going in but after it chambers it doesn't wanna come out.

extracts fine with live ammo, but with fired cases it will extract only sometimes or they stick
