Hello again all.
First Question is: Will a stock for a Mossberg 500 fit the 535? A fore-end?
Second Question: Does anyone reload using card/fiber wads besides those using blackpowder?
Third (I know, I said only two, sorry!): Should I have posed this as two separate threads?

Thanks,
AD.

I can help with the first question....

No, the stocks for the 500/535/835 are not interchangable with the 930/935.

The stocks 930/935 have a recoil spring that runs down the middle of the stock.

The stocks for the 500/535/835 are flush mount on the back of the receiver, they all interchange with each other. I don't know about the forearms, sorry...

As far as multiple questions..... I know how to read, so I don't have a problem with it...

Second question, yes, but a one piece plastic wad usually yields better patterns.

Third, maybe.

Thanks for the answers! so prompt and informative. On the fiber wads, would the shell have to be trimmed down so everything was "stuck" per-say (so nothing moves around or shifts)?

AD

PS: I'm sorry that I put 935 in the title and 535 in the question. I meant 535.

Using a star crimp instead of the older roll crimp, the wad column should be such that no room to move exists. Some folks like things lightly compressed.

Fiber wads are good for this along with wad pressure.. They can be split to give exactly what's needed.

With plastics, I fudge things with wad pressure to get a flat crimp. Fiber and cork wads add flexibility, pun intended.
