I guess I'm just one of those stick-in-the-mud traditionalists.

+1 on Glocks and AKs. Especially with a bakalite magazine. I'm always taken aback at how often they're called ugly.

Flintlocks

It's hard to beat some of the beautiful work done on custom flintlocks.

Maybe not the prettiest, but it has some elegance.

Or something more classic - a beautiful symbios of wood and metal.

Or true classic. I kind of like the clean lines and good engineering.

My favorite is the Colt 1851 Navy for pure elegance in design and function. But I doubt I'll ever have an original. That said, the SW wheelguns are my favorites that I do have.

I was gonna post a pic of the aero, but I think the swede beat me to it. That GAU-8 is just one beautiful piece of engineering.

The most beautiful, my Dad's Model 10 (RIP):

2nd most, my Grand-dads Stephens .22 which I handed down to my Nephew's son just last month:

3rd most, these I got from my good friend Dr. Sam Hutchison (RIP):
F.I.E Titan II .380

and an AMT AutoMag III in 9mm WinMag (9x29)

These I will always keep and treasure until they get handed down to those who will care for them and appreciate them as much as I do.

I vote for the Navy Luger. Has a slightly shorter barrel than the Artillery Luger, which I always thought was excessive. Navy Model looked just about right.
