10 years ago I purchased a new Browning A Bolt 270 wsm in stainless, best group ever shot with it was about 8 inches:: Tool it back to store, gunsmith tried several scopes and mounts, checked crown and rifling, no help. Called Browning, they said send it back,so we did, 3 months later I recieve a new rifle, and no explanation, Second rifle did shoot better, IT WOULD SHOOT 3INCH GROUPS!!!!! So I sold it, after telling buyer the whole story and insisting he shoot it hisself. He still waqnte it . Was a pretty rifLe, I had a Boyds thumbhole in nutmeg, stainless leupold mounts and Elite 3200 3x9x50 Firefly scope. Never found out why neither would shoot. Since I have shot several wsm's with no problems at all. Guess I just wasn't holding my mouth right.
