Oakland Mayor Moonbeame Jerry Brown, when he was Governor,he pushed and signed a law freeing many prisoners, now they are clogging Oaklands mourge. He is well known for being anti gun, except for his friends of course. Now Mtn lions are wondering around in city limits, eating deer in the zoo. Last night on TV news a dog walker reported she saw a lion and it showed no fear of her and her dog! Yet folks still won't carry guns thinking they could scare these animals...it's as if they think lions can't get rabies. They don't even know about the mountain lion that killed a biker and attacked a former marine...When they start eating children maybe it will change ,but I doubt it.

Officials at the Oakland Zoo think two of thedeer at the zoo were attacked by a mountain lion.

Last week, zookeepers found the two deer severely injured withdeep gashes.

Officials weren't sure how the deer were hurt. But a report thisweek that a mountain lion was seen in the nearby Redwood RegionalPark led officials to believe the deer suffered their injuries in amountain lion attack.

Despite their injuries, the deer are expected to be OK.

Meanwhile, in Palo Alto, police are installing two digitalcameras that will take a picture when they detect motion.

The cameras will be set up in nature areas to snap photos of anypassing mountain lions.

Last month, Palo Alto police killed a mountain lion when itwandered into a residential area.

Because, as we all know, the best way to stop mountain lions (and criminals) is for police to take their picture.

It's not?

Last month, Palo Alto police killed a mountain lion when it wandered into a residential area.

Well, I certainly hope there was a large turnout at the anti-mountain-lion-killing protest.
