An article like this just seems to give the anti crowd more ammunition.
They could pose statements such as, "Well, she had a legal gun, but it did not help her". or, "The gun in her purse could have easily been taken and used against her or stolen and used in another crime".
The murder weapon was a stolen gun. (better than a legally owned one though)
Also, I did not think that Washington has "registration" (refering to one of the above quotes). Can anyone answer that?
Murphy said Tawni Baldwin had a gun in her purse, but it was not the murder weapon.
Murphy said he's not sure why she was carrying the weapon, but it was legally registered.
A 9 mm pistol was used in the shooting, a gun that had been stolen in the Arlington area, Murphy said. He said there's no indication that Ryan Baldwin was the one who stole it.
