Some days I swear I can't hit the side of a barn from INSIDE.
Most days I do okay
Then there are the nights like I had tonight! :D:D:D

#1)
My "six can" challenge

#2) "Stop the Alien Invasion"
Double taps and somehow I put two through the same hole in the center
:what:

#3) Nice and easy slowfire at a 50 ft target.

Folks this was, hands down, without question, the best pistol night I have EVER had in my entire LIFE so far!!!!! I didn't even know you -could- put 10 rounds of .40 S&W into that tight a pattern at 50 ft!

Good job. Some days are just like that. Had that at the range last week, working head shots and covered targets. Don't know if it was just forcing me to focus, but if I was attacked by some cardboard bad guys, they would have been toast :)

I had a similar experience... but it didn't end up quite so well. Found a picture of a can like you had hanging up... knew it must be some kind of target. Hit it dead center.

The lady as hung the picture up seemed to be horrified. I wasn't sure whether the caliber bothered her or the shot placement.

She muttered various profanities, and jabbered something about a 'work of art' before slamming the door on her way out.

Wish I could find more targets like that... but the Warhol company doesn't seem to make any more targets. :p

My first experience with a CZ was a 40 range gun. I fully believe your shooting results...it's a darn accurate gun and a natural pointer.

Nice shooting, but also my best night ever did not....oh wait, my wife's still alive, I tell you all some other day.....

Nice shooting.

(Did you make up the targets yourself? Or can you buy those somewhere?) Those are a hoot.

Very nice shooting ZeSpectre. That 50 ft. group is sweet! Impressive "Alien sinus drainage vents" also. The CZ 75-B is my favorite of the line. One accurate gun. Thanks for posting your targets!

Time to come up with another challenge.

I think I've finally got it down

Wow, all these years of shooting and I've never been on a roll like this.
Tonight I took out my trusty old Ruger Security-Six (.357 Magnum, 6" barrel) and proceeded to do this...

Well now that got me feeling a little cocky so I went ahead and ran the target allllllll the way out to the end of the range (25 yards) and by some absolute MIRACLE I managed to do THIS.....

All those years of practice
All those thousands of rounds downrange
All that MONEY :what:
I think I might FINALLY actually be a good target shooter!

:D

Well, pretty good, but that one can looks like a near rimshot to me. Yer gonna have to practice some more.

Wow ZeSpectre, that 45-50 ft target is great! That is veeeery good shooting. Outstanding really. 12 shots in (as I make it out) just over half an inch. :what: That would be a great test target (rested!) for many high end custom pistols.

Sometimes we just make leaps in skill level. Looks like you've taken one. Fun isn't it?

That 25 yard target is also very very nice. I make it out to be around 3.5" center-to-center. Anytime you can keep 10 or more shots under 4" at that distance I'd say you're on your game.

I always enjoy seeing other shooter's targets and/or shooting vids. Thanks for posting and keep them coming.

Do you scan your target pics? It looks like there is bullet holes in my screen. Very cool. Something like that would make a nice screen saver.

Bluto,
Thanks. It really does feel pretty cool that all of a sudden something just clicked and now I'm getting results like this. Would have been nice if it hadn't taken YEARS to do it but I'm not gonna complain :) The sheets are standard 8.5x11 paper so the top group in post #21 is about 1 to 1.5 inches.

Bdjansen,
Yes I scan them in with a black sheet of construction paper behind them.
