My Buck

I got a nice buck this year. I have had doe tags the last 4 years. the ratio is about 15 to 18 does to 1 buck around here. I hunted over 40 hours and this guy eluded me several times and several other hunters too. He was the talk of the canyon. Ruger M77 .270 with a 150 gr. nosler partition and 50 grains H4350 did the trick immediately.

I ask the deer every time to die with his mouth closed but he sticks his tongue at me every time and raises his hoof in a defiant way.

I have no idea of the score. I am getting a european mount though. His tongue is how it is.

Recipes..........tacos, meatballs, stuffed peppers, spag sauce, meatloaf.

loin and tenderloin marinated in olive oil, pepper, garlic, and some juniper berries with roasted potato wedges and spinach. I could go on all day.
