My favorite Smith is:

A toss-up. In rimfire, it is my Korth. In centerfire it is a law enforcement trade-in S&W M65, 4 ".

I've owned a lot of S&W revolvers over the years and I still have a few. I enjoy the N frames and I've owned J and L frames. But my hands down favorite of all is the K frame. If I could only keep one it would be my model 66. Used to be the 19 but once I got my first stainless I was hooked.

Centerfire:Model 27(no dash#)-the blueing is somewhat worn,but you can still shave in it!!6.5" barrel-original Magna grips and a screw in the front of the trigger guard.
Superb quality throughout.
Rimfire:Model 51 22WMR Kit Gun

Thanks - It'll probably be my last upgrade since to get anything nicer would be a lot more money and I'd be less likely to shoot it. This one gets to shoot everything I won't go near a 1911 with.

Favorite Smith & Wesson revolver? Tough one. I have to say it's my 8 3/8" M57. But I really like the little M63 22LR. M17's and M617's... nice too. But of late the little M63 is just fun.

not too many guns i would describe as sexy, but the 3.5 inch 27 is one. my pre 27.

i love shooting this ugly beater triple lock. i call it the beast. somebody a LONG time ago cut it down and re-soldered the front sight on. then added some pre war magnas. its smooth as silk and can handle some stout .44 spc loads. i picked it up for song and the grips are worth more than i paid for it. im fully convinced it was a belly gun for somebody.
