This is my finished project and Im really proud of it, not to showoff, just trying to contribute to one of the few gun forums that I enjoy visiting on an often basis, well here are the pictures and specs
Tell me what you all think, yes originally I was going to keep it simple, I tried really, but this setup works really well for me, i still want to get an acog but I do love the speed of the eotech and the magnifier gives me the best of both worlds, I think I have cured my BRD for now

LMT 16in upper
LMT defender lower with std 4 position stock
Eotech 512
Eotech 3X magnifier
yankee hill BUIS
surefire millinum 951 flashlight /w pressure pad
and gripod

very nice, you have used good parts good accesories, and it looks great. thanks for sharing, i can't wait to hear a range report.

being proud and posting pics for gun pic loving fools isn't being a show off, it is what we need more of. good job.

very nice. I am finding that nothing cheap when building up an AR.

Good News/Bad news

Good news - Great Job! Nice Rig.

Bad news...your BRD isn't cured it's just started. Soon you'll have an urge for a 20' and then you'll want one in a pistol Caliber then next thing you know you're filling out stacks of form 1's and 4's and giving up other hobbies to buy black rifles and gear. I'm sorry. So so sorry.

Finished?

I think that is a drop in auto sear. Makes your AR full auto:evil: First time i have seen a pic.

On the related note; that is a SWWEEEET rifle!

Nice

Nice gun...

The full auto would be fun to have. I have started work on my RRA M4, and I agree that it is not cheap but it is fun to do.

the drop in auto sear sounds like a great Idea

oh one problem, I LIVE IN WASHINGTON!!!!!, so no rock and roll for me, class 3 in prohibited in this state

well, the Us army may have a move for me soon

but i will only live there for about 12-18 months,:(, and be surrounded by a bunch of sand, not the relocation I have in mind,:) but hey I get to come home to this, right.

thats a fine build man. I take it that it has a LMT bolt? my under construction build is just about the same only Im Using a CMMG lower and bushy upper,LMT bolt, and a 16" E.R.Shaw heavy bbl. I have the same eotech and Ide like a 3x magnifier like yours or maybe a night vision. yours looks great and I bet it shoots as good as it looks. great choice of pretty much everything. I guess the only thing left is that little drop in happy piece "caugh" like indian boy said, "caugh" and a 22lr conversion bolt and you could shoot trap with it. the guys with shotguns jaws hit the grass when they see a guy with a fully auto AR shooting 22lr at clay skeet. tried to find one on youtube, guess Ill make one.

Careful -- ar's are addicting -- tough to build just one! Take that from someone who only intended on one & now has 3

Nice build and from an actual use stand point, you went down the right path on the EO tech and Magnifier. Acquisition is a pain in the ass for moving targets with the ACOG and you have the best of both worlds at your option and STIL spent less! Bunnies cannot escape the 512!

I think it is ugly. I like simple shootable rifles without all the hemroids hanging off.

I like it. The gun will take on alot of roles ;) I might add a flashlight on the rail of my carbine for camping.
