I had the GI Champ that was alloy, it shaved itself from the inside....sent it in.....Springfield didn't even strip it before sending it back in the exact same condition. I swore I'd never own another, but now, I'm eyeballing the steel champion GI..........when oh when will I learn?

Yeah - thats a champion. I won it at a NRA dinner a couple years ago.

The Jacket and trench were my gramps from the WW.

The holster I am ashamed to say is a knock off.
