Ok so I was bored and just though I'd post up a few pics of my favorite gun. My Kimber Gold Match II with duragrips imitation ivory grips. I've got 7500+ rounds through this one on 4 stock kimber mags. with 0 malfunctions, and the only thing I've done is change the recoil spring every 1500 rds.

Nice firearm, you do realize you have spent more on the ammo than the gun (LOL).

Jim

Well to be honest I'm getting close the gun cost me $1,289.10 with tax, and not a single round of factory ammo has gone through it. I load .45acp for $136 per 1,000 so at 7500 rds. I've put $1,020 worth of ammo through it. If I'd been shooting factory ammo I'd have at least $3,000 worth through it.

Nice looking Kimber. I have 2 that are great shooter and no malfunctions after 6,000 rounds each.

Oh lord, not another one of those failure prone Kimbers!, Arrrrrrrghh!!! ;)

Seriously, nice pistol, and seriously nice pistol. You did good. My Raptor has been a joy.

Very nice gun and thanks for sharing. You doing well on reloading cost too. :)

Thanks everyone so far the best deal I've found on bullets is cbbullets.com I can get 1000 230gr lrn's for $97.00 shipped. I get my .44's from them too 240 lswc $100.50 shipped per 1000.

I would never spend that kind of money on a handgun, but I can definitely appreciate the beauty of a fine piece.
