My own N340 Data (357 mag). Does it look OK...?

I'm sending this link not to encourage high-pressure loads but to possibly give some insight into what overpressured cases look like. I think from my experience that this is pretty good info. I've been looking at punched-out primers for years. Anyway, all of this info concerns 9mm loading and should not be compared to .357.

Centella, you might take a few of your cases and check their measurements as shown in this link.

9MM Major Loads (natoreloading.com)
Be very very careful gleaning any info from that site.

In my Hornady 9th edition the only place I find N340 is in the 158gr lead bullets There is a maximum load of 5.5gr at 950fps.
If I look at the Hornady 158gr HP-XTP jacketed bullets they recommend a maximum load of 13.1gr of N110 for a maximum velocity of 1200fps.
They also recommend a maximum load of 16.4gr of N120 for a maximum velocity of 1150fps.
No powder is listed for a velocity of over 1250fps for a 158gr bullet in that caliber

This is what Gordon's reloading tool shows with a Hornady 158gr jacketed bullet and 9.3gr of N340
