Hi,
I have the Mini with the 1 3/8" barrel, I believe, and it has an allen screw that is the prime securer. Check in on www.northamericanarms.com their web site. Wealth of information and their own forum. Good luck. Love mine, especially the .22mag.

Remove the grip pivot screw.

Under the pivot grip screw, grip off, is a plastic insert dealy. It's pretty simple. With the pivot screw removed, I think you need to depress the lock button to slide the grip off if it's locked open. I installed mine 25 years ago when I got the gun and haven't removed it, but it ain't rocket science.
