Just stumbled across a review on this neat little piece. Said they would only make 500? Anyone Have any idea if they are ever going to be available ?

How old was the review? I think they've made all they're going to.

Also saw an ended auction on gunauction.com. Current price showed $1750.00, with the reserve not having been met. Seller had a buy it now set at $2500. High bidder was hidden, so I don't know if it sold or the auction just ran out.

Yeah, I think that was the problem. I agree with your statement 100%, though. It really was a cool idea.

Wish I had bought a few when they were offered at $400. The design apparently was a technical nightmare to produce and they felt the actual retail price would be too high to make them a viable product.
