Need a load for .45LC 300 gr GC Boolit

I am looking for anyone who has a decent load for the .45LC using a 300 gr GC boolit using anyone of the following powders:

Win 231
Unique
Titegroup

I have the Beretta Stampeder 4 3/4" gun.

I shot a lot of 300's with 6.5 grains of Unique. 6 was where I started, went up to 7, 6.5 was most accurate for me and had plenty of power.

Why would you load 300 gr. bullets in a Mod. "P" clone? They will shoot awfully high. Your revolver is a fixed sight gun, no? Your revolver is theoretically "dialed in" for 255 gr.+- bullets @ 800 fps +-.

First thanks for the load information. I will start there when I do my next batch of .45LC

As to the why, well a friend gave me the mold, I have the gas checks and it is fun to experiment with different boolits. Gun shoots slightly to the left to I need to have the barrel rotated by a 'smith. Other than that I enjoy the single action design. Need a Ruger Blackhawk in .45LC with adjustable sights and beafier design for more serious work but the STampeder is an excellent "fun" gun.
