Hey guys I went to the gun shop the other day to pick up a Glock 19 to be my winter carry gun, but I ended up coming home with a CZ P-01(thats a story in and of itself). Anyway I am prepping it to start carrying it soon and I am looking for advice.
First lets talk grips. These rubber ones are super comfortable, but I am concerned about how tacky they are. It seem that they will stick to my shirt and not let it move and hang freely. Have you guys noticed that, and if you have replaced them what did you replace them with?
Next lets talk cutting some height out, My gun came with two mags that have the rubber baseplates vs the flush metal ones. The rubber ones seem to add about a half inch to the grip length so I imagine it most you carry the flush ones? Also have any of you replaced the lanyard loop with a flush plug to also cut out length? How difficult is that?
Next IWB I want something comfortable, and I like my guns to ride low in my belt, what do you guys use suggest? WHats the pros and cons of kydex vs leather?
Finally last question is what nightsights are you using and why did you chose them?
