I have recently bought a NIB CZ zkk-601 in .243 Win. It has rail for mounting scope I intend to find a Redfield Revolution 4-12*40. The rear rail has a niche on the left side which seems to me have been made for locking the rail but I have yet to see a pair of rings which fill that niche. Can somebody help me by telling me the model and make of rings made for this type of rail.

The Brno actions are virtually identical to the new CZ's. My CZ's and Brno's all use CZ CZ-550 rings save one exception. The Brno 601 that I picked up last year has Conetrol rings. They came on the gun when I bought it. They're real slick looking but they're a total PITA in the event you need to adjust the scope. If I ever have to screw with them again, I'll ditch them and just install CZ550 rings on this one too. Burris also makes rings for them as does Talley. The only downside is the little cutout you mentioned which basically locates the rear ring. You cant adjust the placement.
