need advise--OWB holster for Glock 19 (ATV riding)

Will be carrying "open" (meaning not concealed) while riding my ATV on my property. Will probably use a belt to help with security (versus a clip on). I have no idea what to get but my 2 main concerns are:

1. holster giving best assurance the gun wont slide out while riding ATV
2. a holster not excessively wearing on the gun's finish

I usually prefer a top strap/thumb brake thingie to help with #1 above. Riding ATVs you are sometimes moving a good deal sitting, standing, leaning, etc.

the best holster for riding a ATV is the Bianchi UM-84...but it isn't "open"

I meant carrying "open" as in NOT concealed. That Bianchi looks like a good fit. I'll have to check out that flap design, make sure it holds the Glock in very securely. Looks like it uses velcro. Would want to make sure there is a good patch of velcro on there for a very tight hold. I have had velcro "gum up" with debris/felt/vegatation and lose its hold on other things, like duffle bag flaps and pants pockets, etc. I imagine Bianchi would make it right though. EDIT-just notice they are the real military issue holster-I am now more confident this thing is made right.

I do like the idea of the flap, not just for security but for debris. This might just be the one.

I welcome any other suggestions. I have good bit of time before I buy, likely wont be buying this particular pistol for a few months.

+1 Bianchi UM-84.
Not cheap, but the best there is very heavy duty banging around.
It is also the GI issue holster for the M-9.

No Velcro anywhere atall.
Very secure nylon/spring loaded latch.
Plenty of padding and hard points to protect the gun, and you!

Put it on a GI pistol belt and you are ready for anything the ATV can dish out!

a common addition is to put an extension on the "release tab" to that pull down to open the flap...for faster access

1. a "field expedient" is to wrap some duct tape through the loop and around a couple of 9mm casings
2. a more attractive solution is to put some braided para cord through the loop
