Need Ammunition Identified

I purchased this ammo(8mm Mauser, Brass Cased-Ball)at a Show about 2 years ago. It's in 70rd. Bands. on Stripper Clips. The Seller claimed it to be of Turkish Manufacture and swore up and down that it is non-corrosive. I took his word for it but have been reluctant to use it. I don't use corrosive ammo so this stuff is useless to me until it can be possitively identified. I would like to be able to use it.
The Markings on the Case read the following;
MKE 7.9 953
