O.K. try this.

Go back to Photo Bucket and double click on the pic, It will get bigger. Now look over to the right and double click on the code on the bottom of the list IMG CODE. Not the words IMG CODE, but the code in the box, double click on it and it should turn blue and say copied. If it doesn't say copied it will not work. Now since you have copied it go back to you post and place the curser where you want the pic. and click it. Now go up to the tool bar and click Edit, now click paste. You should see the code posted in your post. Preview your post, if you see the pic. then post your post. If in your preview all you see is the printed code, then you have used the wrong code. Go back to photo bucket and try coping one of the the other opitions in the code block and try it untill you get the right code.

Husker, good evening. aaahhh! I ain't worried about it. I'll get it someday. A couple of years ago it took me 3 weeks before someone led me through it. I know they're safe on there and I can look at them anytime I want to, and I just uploaded 8 more individual photographs to them an hour or so ago. I may just forget trying to post to the forum. More damn trouble than it's worth..14th Alabama CSA.

Layer 8 problems can be a real pain to resolve, that's for sure. If you do contact Photobucket tech support, make sure they know you are encountering the 1d-10-t (one-dee-ten-tee or one-delta-ten-tango) issue. They'll know exactly what to do then. :)

one-dee-ten-tee--- one-delta-ten-tango. FIRE FIRE! just might have been the words that put 3 pirates in the ground.

GOTC – Here is another method that you may find easy. If I can use it then anyone can as I am a barbarian when it comes to computers.

You will need to use Image Shack. It is free and very user friendly. So Google that up and stick it on your favourites list so you can get at it easy.

Put your photos somewhere where you know where they are on your own computer and can get to them easily – eg ‘my photographs’ etc etc.

Open a Word document (or whatever word processor that you use) and type out your post. Leave a line return or two where you want the image to eventually go.

Minimise this draft document so that you can call it back up easily.

Now call up Image Shack and study the screen.

Click on the ‘Browse’ button and that puts you back into your own computer for a look.

Find the image that you want to post and highlight it.

Click on the Image Shack ‘upload’ button and your image is copied to Image Shack. You will have some clearly labelled options and a couple of them are for forums.

At this stage several URLs are being displayed. Click on the one you want and it will highlight.

Use your own Edit function and then Copy to capture the URL.

Maximise your parked draft and Paste in the captured URL at the place you want. It will be quite a string but make sure that it starts and finishes with URL so you have it all.

Now highlight your entire draft and Copy it.

OK – minimise Image Shack and your word processor and call up the forum that you want to post to

Get a new thread or ‘reply to’ box open and Paste in your saved draft with the URL already embedded in it.

Select ‘Preview Post’ and check that it is what you want. The image will download from Image Shack and may take a few seconds the first time. The pasted URL will have vanished and you have your photo in its place.

Then click on Submit and you are done other than closing down a few functions and tidying up your computer.

Aye

Macmac! Damn, you look rough boy. I don't know what you mean about place my address there. I don't know what my address with PB is. Didn't know I even had one. I just go to the site, enter my user name and password and upload or look. I can do anything on there except make the photo show up on the forum here. I'm missing a step or two somewhere here.
Good to hear from you. I hope you'vd been doing alright. 14th Alabama CSA.

GOC, Do you know how to copy and paste text?

The address I want is the address of your photos, it looks like mine.. If you click my 'address' you will go right to my photobucket site.

If you give me your address I can go to yours and see if I can help you out.
Here is mine again

http://s290.photobucket.com/albums/ll275/Mac_Muz/

All you need to do is click it and my albums will load, so long as you are on line.

You will see the address at the top of the page that opens.

You can left click and hold the mouse down while moving the mouse and pointer over my address, and the address will turn blue.

When it is all blue hit the keys on you board CTRL and C.

You have copied my address, and or your address.... to pass along your address to me here open the reply, and not the quick reply little window, then

Click the arrow pointer to reply in the reply window, hit the keys on your keyboard CTRL and V and the address should appear.

This is copy and paste, which makes it so you need not type the address.

I just need the address and I don't need your password.

I can tell you know how to highlite, (turn text blue) because you said something and deleted it to ber XXXX...

I just highlited the text you wrote to me and copied it by hitting CTRL and C keys, and so did not type this "Macmac! Damn, you look rough boy."

Getting the address is similar to deleting text, but instead of hittting the delete key, you hit C.

To post Macmac! Damn, you look rough boy. I hit CTRL and V keys.
