Need Help Field Stripping A Taurus Pt-111

I just bought my girlfriend a new taurus pt-111 pro millennium 9mm and i cannot figure out how to disassemble it. I have read the manual over and over ,an i cannot get the slide to separate from the frame. I sure can use the help, thanks

Make sure the magazine is out. Also try while the gun is held upside down. Ocassionally the barrel will need the gravity to relese on some PT111's.
