Need help identifiying a spanish mauser

dont have any pics right now but it is a 1893 action dated 1898, has a 21 in barrel and bent bolt is this a 1893 short rifle ? if any of you have one that fits this description could you post pics so i could use it as a referance in identifying it.

The one I have was given to me years ago wrapped in duct tape & spray painted black. I made an attempt at refinishing & rebluing it. It has an 1893 action & a 21 inch barrel as you describe. I think it is an 1893 Spanish Mauser that was later cut down to be a short rifle.
 
yeah thats about right except your bolt looks bent back slightly mine is a definate military bent bolt , but yeah i was wondering if some pro cut mine down and used the original sights or if it was some sort of short rifle but ^ that anwsers my question right there thanks
 
I'm not an expert by any means Gunnerboy. That is just what I think. I actually can't read what it says on the reciever of my rifle anymore. When I got it I was able to make out a very faint Fabricas Armas & if I recall correctly 1902. The 2 can still be made out very faintly. At least I think it is a 2.
