So I recently save about $800 and I'm looking to purchase a new rifle. I'm more of a casual shooter. I shoot a couple times a month at most and its mainly at targets or any random stuff I find to shoot at. I really only shoot for the fun of it; so cheap ammo would be nice.
However I'm also looking for something that might be a good SHTF rifle as well (never know what could happen), so something at least somewhat practical as well. I'm a big fan of smaller rifles.
So right now I'm considering three generic rifles but if you have any other suggestions please share.
-Vector Arms Uzi carbine (http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct517.aspx)
-Some type of Ak under folder (maybe: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct917.aspx)
-DPMS Ar-15 (http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=1437&cat=1891)
In your opinion what would be the better investment based upon my needs/wants?
