Can anyone suggest some links or organizations that advocate gun ownership for women worldwide?

I keep reading about conflicts all over the world where rape is being used as a weapon, mass rape camps, conscripintg sex slaves, etc. I always have this urge to go back in time somehow and give these women guns. I have been googling all afteroon and keep coming up with sites and organizations working to take guns away from people in conflict areas, which doesn't make much sense to me at all.

Any links or reading suggestions on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks.

Worldwide is an interesting thought. One would think of the UN right off, but we know how they plan to control the world and guns for us isn't part of the plan.
I thought the NRA was planning to or did open a chapter or office in the UK?
They might be your best bet, since the United States is the worlds only example of Freedom and Liberty. I think any organization outside the US might be stifled into submission and disappearance.

Might dig around here and find something http://firearmnews.com/directory/index.asp

May just be me and or my search techniques, but I seem to have better luck with a different search engine than Google on the gun stuff. Could be my memory as its pretty well full from a liftime of stuff.

Thank you. Those are great links.

The more I read about the stories of these women and children the angrier I get. Rape as a weapon is cheaper than guns for these rebels and government militaries and it's spreading AIDS and destruction. If some of these households had a gun or two the world would be a better place. Disamament is not the answer. I'm getting all fired up about this, but this madness won't end with "weapon free zones". Not when the actual governments are the perpetrators like in Myanmar or Sudan. Grrr.

I have PJ O' Roarke's "Give War a Chance" on deck in my to-read pile, too. I think I better crack that one open tonight.

Thanks for the links. They will keep me busy.
