wow that was unbelievable. You definitely don't want him shooting in your direction. I have never seen anyone shoot a revolver that fast.
I didn't even think it was possible.
Thanks for the vid.

He can easily outshoot those with open class autos! He's definitely one of a kind and I love his crouched stance, such a joy to watch.

Does anyone know if he uses powderpuff loads or anything like that? What other tricks does he use, if any?

No tricks, he's the real deal. I believe he shoots .38 super.

From a draw Delf Bryce would have laid him out pretty though.

I'm guessing mind you... but for the 6 shots, reload, 6 shots in 2.99, I believe he's using a S&W 625 with moonclips. And he's probably shooting major power factor (minimum: 165000 = bullet weight / velocity). Even if he's shooting a minor load (125000), it's still frickin' fast!

For the speed reloading, Jerry likes the S&W Model 625 in 45 ACP with moon clips. Not sure about 38 Super. Did anyone ever chamber a revolver in 38 Super?

When he shoots, it kinda sounds like a BAR, doesn't it? :D

I bought his video, Utimate Advanced Revolver. I learned a lot of great tips from it. What's even more impressive to me than his speed reloading is when he fires at multiple targets, without pausing between them. A lot of very good shooters I have seen have a momentary pause as they engage a new target. Not Jerry. In his video, he fires 6 rounds into one target, then he splits those six rounds onto 3 targets (2 rounds each). I believe his overall time, as well as the time between each shot remained nearly identical. Something on the order of .15 to .17 seconds between each shot. He stated that he constantly "keeps the trigger running", with the same smooth, consistent pull and release for each shot. So even when swinging the gun between targets, he is taking up the trigger pull on the way to the target. Amazing.

I'd also like to try his "Trigger Job" DVD sometime. As for his guns, they are stock except he stated he likes a McGivern-style gold bead sight with a white outline rear. He then add's his custom smooth wood stocks and he does do some work to the trigger. Same pull length, but much smoother/crisper.

There was the S&W Performance Center 627-4, with Miculek's preferred smooth grips in red, white and blue laminate. Eight shot cylinder, factory moonclipped and with the interchangeable muzzle inserts (ported and non ported) too.

He is certainly a man our grand children will be reading about as one of the greatest. God bless him for always being a positive representation of the shooting sports.
