Here are my new Lew Horton 29-10's wearing older combat grips. The old combats do a great job of handling the recoil of the short barrel .44 mags. The original grips that came with the 29's look good, but were not fun shooting with full house loads.

They are excellent revolvers, if you get the chance to buy one, don't pass it up. You may take some crap from the I hate the lock crowd. But that's fine with me, they don't know what they're missing.
