Anyone recall when Smith put a dab of something on the tip of the locking bolt, to avoid the drag line on the cylinder?

Mark, beautiful guns. Really prefer the fit of the stocks on the new one.
How much you want to use either one is a different question....

the Stock Fit feels & looks good! but I can’t really compare it to Old Python because they are $$$$! ouch expensive
