Have 2 brand new boxes of 22mag.

bad:
doesn't look finished tumbled(black spots)
some cases have multiple dents
some are scratched the length of the case
others appear to be just fine

Now I didn't wanna shoot any and I can't return to the store so I'm wondering if I have any other options then just picking out the good looking ones or tossing them?

Thanks for any help, it ruined a short part of the day:banghead:

The manufacturer should make it right but they likely function just fine. I think quality control is slipping in favor of maximum production. I passed on a few boxes of Barnes 338 win mag because the cases looked caved in from too much lube or something. Academy refused to discount the $65/20 boxes so i walked. For $3/round i expect perfection. When paying $.07/round for tokarev surplus, i am surprised to find perfection. Everything else is in between. I would probably use the 22 mag ammo and write a letter or call.
