Am looking for a new carry gun in .40 S&W. Am considering CZ-2075 Rami. Not the P (polymer model). Looking for pros & cons or other suggestions.

Thank you

If I ever buy another carry gun it will be S&W 4040PD Airlite. It's world class pistol made in USA. Not sure if "bowling glove" is needed to shoot one but I like this weapon a lot. If I had to pinch "nickels" second-hand Glock 27 would also be very acceptable.

CZ's are THE most under rated gun on the market, the CZ-2075 Rami, IMHO, is one of the finest guns available. ;)

These weapons are being used all over Europe in "Official" capacities and there's a reason for that! :what:

I'd buy it, I've considered it myself!

Glock 23 with 13+1 of .40S&W with extra magazines (well made, stainless steel lining polymer, I might add) being procurable for around $18?

What more could one want?

My daily beater is a CZ PCR, my only complaint: it needs to be a single stack IMO. Most say the RAMI is a great pistol, I have no experience with it, just the PCR. I weighed the pros and cons of performance vs concealability and think I have the smallest pistol that I can shoot fast and accurately. If you have a pistol that you need to holster carry I would get a compact instead of a subcompact.

CZ's are good guns for sure, but you should try to rent some before buying.
You also might want to try....

Glock 23
S&W M&P40 compact
SA XD40 compact

I personally prefer the Glock 23.
