Hello Folks:
Well, my Colt obsession continues... Today I picked up a NIB Colt Single Action Army .45, nickel finish, 5.5" barrel. The revolver is absolutely gorgeous with a flawless finish. However, as mesmerized as I was by the liquid smoothness of the finish, I neglected to do as thorough of a "check-out" on the piece when I was in the store. Anyway, upon return home, I noticed a little more rotational play in the cylinder than that exhibited by my other SAA's. It's not terribly loose, and the bolt locks up very positively in all the notches, but I can hear a slight rattle when I shake it. I don't want to, but should I send it back to Colt to have a larger bolt fitted?
Thanks!
