While perusing Armslist for guns I don't need and can't afford, I stumbled upon a guy who lived right down the road who was selling a new, never shot, CZ Rami 9mm. I love, and I mean love, the trigger on this gun. On par with my Sig. Needless to say, I've been drive firing on my couch more-or-less for 24 hours straight.

Any Rami owners out there recommend a good load to run through this gun? Thanks!

From what I understand about CZ, they are supposed to run lights out with about anything you care to feed them. I don't have much experience with the CZs, but I am looking at the P-01 and the P-07 as my next firearms purchase if I can't come up with the $1200 for the SIG P226 Legion. Congrats on your purchase!

I was supposed to pick up my new p-09 today. First time using a kitchen table ffl (literally used the KT, lol). Well... tracking said they attempted to deliver today about noon and left a notice... ffl says he was home but never heard a knock or doorbell. Said his kid was in the front room... mailbox is on the house...

Whatever... hopefully i see my new friend by midweek but I'm not holding my breath. Who has time to stop at post office after work?

If only I'd used my regular LGS we'd be together right now.... possibly at the range tonight. That's what i get for saving $10!

UPDATE: Tracking now says delivered! Maybe KTFFL was able to pick it up ? I know his kid had a game this afternoon....

I used to own a 9mm RAMI and sold it. While it was in the display case at the local store waiting to be sold, I noticed a large crack in the frame. It must have occurred at some point while I owned it, but I have no idea when. Aside from that I remember not liking it but not exactly why.

I handled a Rami today. It was really nice but didn't really offer anything over my P30SK so I passed.

Then I spotted a Shadow 2 in the case. Unfortunately I need to save money right now.

Walking away from it was really hard.

My friend feels the same way, and he's on the hunt for a P30SK. The P30 doesn't seem too difficult to come by, but the SK version is being tricky to track down.

I have had a RAMI 9mm for a long time, and I count it among my favorites for carry and practical range time (the Springfield EMP 9 and Ruger Officers 9 also fall into my category of favorites). I carry mine in an IWB CrossBreed holster.

To be clear, the only reason I feel that way is because my P30SK has night sights and the light LEM trigger. The Rami's trigger was far better IMO than a standard HK DA/SA trigger. It was smoother and lighter.

They seemed close in dimensions, but I liked the smaller and less obtrusive controls on the Rami. Having an all metal gun is nice too. If I didn't already own the HK I may have bought the Rami.

They're nice guns.

If your friend finds a P30SK, the light LEM trigger and night sights are worth the money. It's a great trigger.

My P09 likes any and everything, especially my reloads. CZ 9s tend to like 124 best from what I see and hear.

I have several CZ's metal and polymer, the Rami is the only one I've ever bought that I sold. A small gun should never be that fat.

Exactly why I sold my rami yearssss ago, completely felt awkward in my hands. If you plan on buying one
I highly suggest handling one and comparing to others before committing to it.

Funny, I find a palm filling short grip quite comfy, especially if it contains a 10 round magazine.

I recently got the Sig bug, so I don't mind a little more meat on the bone when it comes to handguns. I don't have large hands, but the thicker guns seem to feel right.

460shooter hit the nail on the head with the "metal gun" comment. I can only own metal guns. It's a sickness. I have owned many polymer frames (even a CZ Duty for a time), but traded them all for more metal.

I shot the Rami tonight, and the accuracy is very...very nice. It shoots better than I do, but at 30 feet (if I do my part) I can get a 3 inch group. That's everything I need the gun to do. Thanks for the comments!

Although I have looked hard at Rami's I don't have one. I think some folks may confuse them as pocket pistols although I don't think CZ makes that claim. A Rami is only slightly smaller than my PCR's and my PCR's are for sure holster sized guns.

My impression of Rami's is that they are the smallest of the CZ holster carried guns. I certainly would love to have a Rami.

I can see the Rami being carried in a coat pocket during cold weather...but it's no pocket pistol - but that's now what I bought it for. I carried it today IWB, and found it comfortable and easy to conceal under a flannel.

I did have some trouble with a few reloaded rounds going fully into battery (it would jam-up about a 1/4 inch before battery), but I account that to the ammo. I only have 150 rounds through her, and I only had the one ammo on hand. I'll be better prepared with different ammo next time. Still, I'm really liking the Rami. Sometimes a gun just feels right in your hands, and this is one of those times.

Good luck with your Rami, i was looking for one few years ago but found a PCR that just fit right.... it is likely my most accurant cc and easy carry iwb. i still part time cc my colt off. 45 or my sig 938 but darn that PCR is hard to beat.

Had a RAMI for a year or two now. Haven't found any ammo it doesn't like. I carry in a Clinger No Print Wonder. I actually enjoy shooting my RAMI more than my P07, having my pinky hang off just doesn't matter because the rest of the grip just fits so well in my hand. My biggest complaint is the lack of replacement sights. Wanted to get some Truglo TFX sights but can't get a straight answer from anyone as to if the RAMI shares sights with any other gun or if they are proprietary.

Thanks for the holster suggestion. I had the p-07 duty for a time, and it was a wonderful gun...I just needed a metal frame. I kinda regret selling it, but I'll probably own another one at some point :)

My 3 inch barreled cz shoots just as good as any 5 inch barrel I have. Like you said, that grip just begs to have a hand wrapped around it. In my case, my pinky falls so naturally under the grip that it's comfortable. Hard to beat 10 rounds out of a gun that small and comfortable.

If you find any leads on sights please let me know. It seriously dampens an otherwise very fine pistol, at least for me since I'm not a huge fan of three white dots on sights.
