I believe Wolf is a brand name owned by an importer. IIRC their match target rimfire was claimed to be made by SK some years ago. They likely have changed suppliers in later years.

In decades past, when I didn't have CCI SV 40 gr LRN (1070 fps), I fell back on Blazer 40 gr LRN (1235 fps) as it produced second best small groups compared to CCI SV.I've never tried Blazer, I thought the faster ammo accuracy diminishedBlazer ... then two confirmation groups at the bottom with Blazer
Including TAC-22 along with ELEY Club and RWS Target Rifle.I am hoping mine will take a liking to Norma Tac 22, as it seems to be available at a reasonable price.

One of the guys has a mix-up in his info in that thread. The old Wolf Match Target was the same a SK Standard Plus. The old Wolf Match Extra was the same as SK Rifle Match. AFAIK, there's never been a version known as SK Standard, only Standard Plus.Apparently Wolf Match/Target was Lapua SK Standard and Wolf Match Extra was SK Standard Plus - https://www.rimfirecentral.com/threads/wolf-22lr-match-target-german-made.1277052/

I never understood that, selling match ammo rebranded as Wolf. Seemed it was always judged by a lot of people as "that cheap Russian steel case crap". I remember a lot of folks on RFC turned their noses up at it until it caught on. I still have a couple bricks of the old SK stuff.I thought long ago Wolf 22LR were actually made in Russia.
