Hey MJ, They do look purty and it looks like some nice straight grain. My No.4 Mk2 Faz had to have some serious clean-up. What do the codes say on the left side of the receiver? You said one's a '53 and the other's a '54... but I'm wondering where they were built.
About ten years ago, I came across a NIB No. 4 at a gun show, made in 1955 at Fazakerly and packed away. It was in the wrapper, loaded with cosmoline, and with a brand-new bayonet, for $200. I still have it, and still think it was one of the best buys I ever made.
It's not enough I have to see your gun porn collection on surplusrifle.com, I have to see it here also. Your not helping a MILSURPITIS sufferer with these graffic images.
There is a point in life when you have to enjoy what you have.
The $99 Fuji has a lot of fun in it. I don't plan on changing my collection and may even trim it. I have a few projects the need to be finished, one is two years old, some old m1 from CMP receiver and a $89 parts set.. Butt your all too kind. Again thank you and you all enjoy your collecting. I think I have another itnterest growing.
I think the only question in my future is what color.
Is that a Savage by any chance, or a trials rifle? Not very many '41 T's out there, is why I ask. If it's Brit, does it have the Royal on the left of the butt socket?
