Well I just got a brand new Glock 20 thanks to Mark over at Summit Gun Broker. I just have one question, I put about 90 rounds through it this morning and when I was shooting I had one round that did not feed all the way, it held the slide back about a quarter inch. I cleared it just fine but does anybody know why it would do that? I am using a Lone Wolf barrel and that particular ammo was from Surplusammo.com that I got at the recent gun show.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Lots of possibilites when a gun malfunctions. Ammunition, magazine, extractor, etc. Do you have the original barrel? Also is the original recoil spring in it? Any amatuer gunsmithing go on like a trigger job?

What make and brand was the ammo? I would try it with around 200 rounds of UMC just to make sure its not the ammo. Its hard to diagnose a problem over the internet.

The Lone Wolf barrel has a tighter chamber and will be more picky with ammo. Use some higher grade stuff or take the gun to a smith and have him file a little off the ramp.

I was shooting ammo I bought from Surplusammo.com I got at a gun show. They use doubletap brass and it was 180gr FMJ. I do have the original barrel too but I was also shooting Doubletap hardcasts so I didn't want to use it. With only 90 rounds through it I know its early. Should I wait till I have a couple hundred rounds through it before really worrying about it?
