So, much to my delight, when I looked on Walmart.com tonight, they finally had Spyderco Native's back in stock (and, I might add, have added the Tenacious to the list). I know it's just a simple, $40.00 knife, but I have wanted to get a Native for a long, long time and simply haven't had the spare $40.00 to do so. My excitement at finally being able to buy this darn knife is far greater than it should be, but I have been waiting for months! New job equals new knife (and also food and electricity).

My buddy has a Native, so I am familiar with the knife. I can already tell you that barring something being physically wrong with the new Native, my Fox EDC knife is no longer my EDC knife. Oh, I like the Fox too much to abandon it totally: It will go in my bag, and it will get used only slightly less than it does now.

Lest my excitement boil over, I darn near ordered a Delica from them too. I didn't, because I really kind of want a Razel, and I have about 450 other knives that I drool over on a daily basis. In any event, it's just a simple thing, but it has literally made my whole week.

On a side note, Walmart is selling a Victronix knife called the "Trekker" that I absolutely would have ordered had the darn thing come with a pocket-clip. Aargh! The pocket-clip is a must have thing for me, as I really don't like stuff rattling around in my pockets. Other than that, the Trekker would have made an absolutely perfect work knife for me.

(Timbo): Hello, my name is Timbo and I have a problem...

(Crowd): Hi, Timbo!

:D

lpl (takes one to know one)

At a knife a week it will take you 8.6 years to get them all !!!!

At an average cost of $50.00 (LOW)
thats $22,500.

Yes, we all have a big problem.

Bumping this cause Timbo deserves more warm fuzzies from us

Remember the first knife you really wanted and could finally afford !

First, congrats on your new EDC! You might consider carrying two now!
Second, I did not realize WalMart stocked any model Spyderco.
I'll start looking a little closer now.
