Hello folks my name is Bud, I am a 8 year USAF Vet back in the 80's, now I am just kicken it in SW Washington, I have lived all over the place born in Italy on Airbase and American as it gets my gun passion is WWII guns and fave so far are my K31's but I love the old standby stuff to like my HiStandard Riot and the Marlin 30-30, but still overall I am a newbie, looking to glean what I don't know and share what I do.

Hey, I'm from middle Georgia. I'm a Citadel graduate, and I've had a life long love and interest in firearms of all types. I love hunting, especially deer hunting, but above all else I think that firearms are a requisite part of defense of self, loved ones, and other decent, good people. I regularly am researching different firearms related matters on the Internet, and I realized that I repeatedly was getting great input from this forum. I also appreciated the atmosphere or way members treat each other. Of course, most gun people I've met or communicated with are truly fine people, but THR seems to excel consistently in this area. I look forward to more directly participating with the knowledgeable, friendly people on this forum.

hello

Hi.
I am from Italy. By now I own only airguns.
In the future I foresee some upgrades!

Probably before the writing, I will have to do a lot of reading here.

;)

Bye

Hello All From Illinois

My name is Mike! Wriggly was my best friend ever, a faithful little mutt that gave me unconditional love and never asked for anything in return. I am soon to be 58 years old, and live in Northern Illinois.

I like all firearms, especially old school stuff, although I do recognize the value of the newer, higher tech stuff made today.

Longtime lurker but new poster here from the Bay California (aka Kaliban)
...anyway great wealth of information from here.

My name is Noah. I live in Bowling Green, KY for school. Grew up in the Bay Area of Ca.

I bought my first gun this year, a Mossberg Maverick 88 with 28" barrel. Shoot clays with it and will be my main HD gun for many years to come. Next thing I'm looking to get is a semi-auto pistol (SA XD 9 or .45). I'll be in KY for a few years so I may try to get residency here and CCW.

Hello from West Virginia

Been lurking around for awhile, thought I'd do the neighborly thing and say howdy....Howdy all! :)

Long time lurker, finally decided to register. :)

I like all sorts of firearms, own more than a few, but less than a lot. I like high tech and low tech, foreign and domestic.

I enjoy my RKBA and will support everyone else's RKBA just as vehemently as my own.

hi, just found this place, been at 1911 forum for
8years.thought I'd check this place out. thanks for having me.

:D

hey, i'm phil. live in hawaii. first thing i did after waking up on my 21st birthday was brush my teeth...then took off to the police station to get my permit to acquire long guns. i'm a private pilot and a skydiver, so i know my way around the aviation world, and i've been in the Marine Reserves as an Infantry Rifleman for just over 3 years and have been to Iraq, so i know some about the military and military weapons. so far, i own a .223 Savage 12FV and a Ruger 10/22. the plan was to get a shotgun, pistol, tactical carbine, bolt-action, and then the 10/22, but the bolt action and 10/22 just happened to be on sale, and being a poor college dropout, i had to go where the money allowed. hopefully soon, i'll be acquiring everything else on my list and looking around for other firearms that catch my eye...

Hey THR! Dan here from the University of Florida! I'm an engineering student who has always been interested in firearms and shooting and I thoroughly enjoy introducing new friends to the sport of shooting. I currently own a Springfield 1911, Savage .22, WASR-10, and Mosin M44 and I'm saving up furiously to afford an AR pattern rifle. I joined THR to further my firearms education and hopefully get some questions answered. I'm looking forward to getting to know the forum.

Hi gents i'm new to your forum but hope to fit in with your shooting fraternity.
I am a retired 64 yr old and i shoot small bore field and target rifles at 2 local clubs here in south wales,uk.
I would like to be able to set up a freindship with some shooting buddies over in states for help and information and ofcourse anything uk related i can help you out with in return.
I have been to the states several times and hope to go back again soon.
Can anyone point me to a gun store that deals with PCP rifles and pistols?
I am also a private pilot and with 3 priends have just finished building our own single engined kit plane from the USA, it's an Escapade.
If anyone would like a chat please feel free.

Like Glocks Military pistols(CZ52 &Cz82 etc.) Mausers & Single Action.
Just purchased a Ruger Blackhawk45Colt/45ACP.
Just started reloading.
History nut; that enough?

My name is David. I just bought a shotgun last week, the first real gun I've ever owned with my own money. Its a Stevens 67, so while its probably a POS, I got a great deal on it. My wife owns a couple of guns, a little .22 bolt action and a .22 Hornet that her dad has been holding on to for her for some time, but he keeps pawning it and/or burying his gun case, so we're getting it back ASAP.

We live in Bend with our 2 dogs and 3 cats, and we're both students. I'm planning to get an AAS in Criminal Justice and get into Law Enforcement, becoming a cop in our local area, and the wife is a Business major with a focus on Photography, and currently works as a reporter for a local paper.

Hi, appologies for the late introduction. I joined a little while ago and was reading up on previous posts on the boards. Imagine my surprise when I finally came across this thread. Anyhow, I'm a little over 40, work as an engineer in lovely southern California with it's strange 10 round mag limit and an even stranger list of "approved" guns.
I got back into shooting recently after a few years of abstinence. Right now I'm using a SIG 226 in 9mm and enjoy it tremendously (and can't really understand why I waited so long to shoot again).

Regards,
RSC
