new member of forum

Greetings: I am new to forum. I have recently taken up the shooting sport after 12 years.Got to be too much hassle back East. Much more enjoyable here on the West coast. Sold all of my firearms long time ago and am so delighted that there is such a wide variety of models on the market now. Taurus Judge,Kel-tec 32cal. ,and Saiga .223 are my newest acquisitions. Will be looking at shotgun soon. Went hunting once in W.Virginia and gave up that Idea when in the evening it sounded like a war with so many "HUNTERS" blasting their beer bottles. Yes, I am a very responsible gun owner.

Howdy from Southern California

Hi everyone. Wandered in while searching for info re: Sights for my XD-9. Found some replies from this site and decided to join. I enjoy shooting for fun and currently have in addition to the SA XD, a S&W 15-22 AR, a 6 7/8" Ruger MkII .22 (love that pistol) and a 1898 Mosin-Nagant that still shoots. I'll be looking for an experienced gunsmith to install sights on the XD in Southern California.

Take care all!

Hey, my name is Dave. I live in Baxter, Minnesota. I am just coming back to participating in the gun hobby. I just bought a S&W Sigma .40 and knew that I had alot of work to do, getting my grip, stance, etc, to get a good grouping on the target. I was starting to have my doubts about the quality of the Sigma so yesterday I got a cheap bench rest and went to the range. Well, needless to say out of 12 rounds, 8 were just abut dead center at 10 yards...So I have alot to learn and alot of practicing coming up... That Sigma is as good as gold, as far as I am concerned.... LOL Oh, and if any one doubts that..I have a copy of the bulleye that I can send you.....

New guy from NJ

I thought I was registered here but I wasn't. I'm a generalist, like everything from handguns to rifles and shotguns. Don't hunt anymore but just started target shooting again since I just got on permanent disability and I need something to do where I can be still.

Of course NJ is not the gun friendliest state, but I am next to PA.

Another new guy to this board. My name is Arthur, and I live in WA state.
I like clunker guns, FrankenFALs, beaters, oddballs, SKSs and ARs. And I have a few.

Hi to all
My name is granthog, I live in Indiana and have always liked guns and shooting. I enjoy hearing different views , and more importantly personal experiences and opinions. I am an older guy, and a member of VVA (Vietnam Veterans Of America). Thanks..........

A warm welcome to all newcomers, but especially to
Dutchdiamondback:
Misschien kunnen langs deze gemeenschappelijke weg nieuwtjes & wetenswaardigheden tussen vlaanderen en nederland uitgewisseld worden.

Hey guys, new to the forum. Seems to be alot of useful information here. Hope I can contribute. I'm a semi-retired government employee and enjoy anything firearms related.

Howdy All, used the forum a few times for AR info. I live in Arkansas, carry a 1911 and plink with an AR. Don't hunt, mostly have guns for fun at the range and home/personal defense.

I'm the new guy

I am a retired federal employee living in Prescott, Az. I can't think of a gun
I wouldn't like long as it isn't pointed at me. I just purchased yet another
gun to my wife's long suffering opinion and I stopped by for some info on what
to use in reloads. Pistol is a Taurus Tracker, .38/.357 with a 4" barrel. U have
interest primarily in pre-Vietnam sidearms and rifles. Any help is much apprec-iated.

New Member

Hi,

I'm a new member here. I have been shooting for 45+ years. Active in the NRA as well as hunting and target shooting. I shoot rifle most of the time, trap shoot about once a month. Do a little handgun shooting as well.

Good morning THR

I am a college student from Central Michigan and have been shooting almost as long as I've been walking. I have a Russian SKS that I got for Christmas when I was 8 (first gun), a Mosin Nagant 91/30, and recently an Uberti cap and ball revolver. I like all guns but specifically military surplus for the history factor and the AR-15 because its fun to shoot.

I believe it is the responsibility--not just the right--of the American citizen to practice the Second Amendment.

Oh and I am in the process of joining the MI National Guard.

Hello everyone. I have browsed this forum many times, and finally decided to make an account. I figured I'd introduce myself.

My name is Erik D. Pakieser. Like most folks, I have a day job but I also do firearms training under the auspices of my company, Quorum Security, Inc (QSI).

I have a background in military and law enforcement. I currently work as an Emergency Manager.

I'm interested in the use of firearms for self defense, both in the citizen and law enforcement arenas, and the general advancement of gunfighitng as an art.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!
