Has anyone heard about, read about, or checked out the new Remington 750 Woodmaster Carbine?

I am all hot for the carbine (18 1/2" barrel) in .308. Hopefully this rifle will surpass what I have read about the 742 and other previous Rem autos being unreliable unless laboratory clean and oiled, and shoot better than minute of pie plate.

I cannot even find a magazine article on it yet.

Anyone shot one yet?

I just bought one in 30.06, full length barrel. So far, not bad. With the factory mags., the gun works great. I can't get the Triple K 10-shots to feed reliably, though. Out of the box, it was good for 4"-6" groups at 100 yds. resting on a shot bag with a gusty crosswind, open sights. I was inpatient that day and just wanted to play with my new toy. I really need to put it in a rest on a good day to see what it's really good for. The ammo I used was Maine Cartirdge 150 grain FMJ and some Federal 150 grain FMJ through it. Both worked well with the factory mags. It seemed like the Triple K mags. were dropping a bit after the third shot. I'm still trying to figure that one out.
