New shooter

I took my girlfriend shooting today. Springfield XD .45 4".

200 rounds, underground range.

...She loved it.

Didn't even have to start her on a .22 - ok mainly because all I have is my .45.

To hear "I can't wait to go again" was music to my ears.

She is excited to go shooting with a LE buddy of mine as well as get involved with NRA classes.

It's all about throwing "TV education" away and experiencing it for real. I was so excited I just wanted to share my experience!

So now...she is sharing my excitement of growing the collection. I do smell a 1911 in my future...mmmm

Sounds good evilelvis. You should try taking her someplace with some sort of interactive targets. I've found that really gets new shooters going, even if it is just setting up some clay targets on a berm and breaking those.
