New Springfield XDm subcompact?

With the new XDm series out, and 2-free mag offer for XD's (to help clear the inventory perhaps?), does anybody know if Springfield is planning to release an XDM subcompact soon?

I really doubt that Springfield will put out a Sub-Compact version. My understanding is that the XDm is a gun aimed more at competetive shooters and target shooters than at the CCW crowds, hence the match barrel, huge capacity, and nigh impossible-to-conceal grip length.

At the same time, I hope they do. A nice barrel does arguably even more for a short barreled gun. I wish the XDm was at least like the Compact models with two different size mags/grip lengths.

Thanks Blued, unfortunately i bought mine 8 months too early. Oh well might have to buy another just for the mags.
