New to black rifle question

I am new to the black rifle and have a question regarding ballistic information. I have numerous bolt guns and am familiar with reloading and shooting. So here goes. When calculating ballistic tables the average sight height for an optical sight on a bolt gun is 1.5" given medium rings and a 1" tube I know they vary according to specfic ring height. My question is what would be an average sight height for a AR flat top given a 1" tube 50mm objective. Thanks agian for your time.

2.5", and it doesn't matter what size optic it is.

2.5" is where you can see through it with the straight stock & low in-line barrel design.

That's also where the carry handle iron sights are, or were.

Thank you so much. And I take objective bell diamiter is not an issue mounting a scope, due to the stock configuration of the AR. works great 1 mil at 400 and 2 mil at 500. agian Thanks
